HEINEKEN USA is proud to announce its $10,000 grant to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) scholarship, helping to support the education of 36 talented and deserving students over the age of 21. The scholarship recipients represent undergraduate and graduate programs from 32 universities in 19 states across the country.

HEINEKEN USA’s scholarship grant is part of its larger partnership with the CBCF, which it has supported for more than 16 years. The support of the CBCF is one example of HUSA’s Brewing a Better World platform, the company’s commitment to sustainability, responsibility, and building inclusive and diverse communities.

“We’re committed to Brewing a Better World and are always looking for ways to foster inclusion and diversity at HEINEKEN USA and within our communities,” said Donnica Hawes-Saunders, Manager of Alcohol Policy and Government Affairs at HUSA. “By supporting the CBCF scholarship, we hope to help provide opportunities for the next generation of community leaders.”

For more than 150 years HEINEKEN has stood for openness, believing that the simple act of sitting down and having a conversation over beer helps bring people together. In addition to its partnership with CBCF, HEINEKEN USA supports various community partners focused on inclusion and diversity, including NYC and Capital Pride, the Hispanic Federation, and Vital Voices.
